Fans can save two different ways for the upcoming Harvest 50 three-day weekend at the historic Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio, September 17-18-19. Weekend passes can save fans and pit crew members an average of ten dollars over single day admission. Three-day passes are $48 for General Admission and a three-day pit pass is $65.
AMRA wrap-up
Over 50 hot AMRA Modifieds and over 120 cars packed the pits at Billy Jarrell's Skyline Speedway where a huge crowd again helped pay tribute to one of racing's great guys in the 2nd Annual Greg Schilling Memorial race for the AMRA Road Warrior Challenge Late Model Hall of Famer Rick Aukland claimed the AMRA showcase race, while the AMRA late model main went to South Parkersburg's Chris Carpenter over Josh McGuire, and Keith Baxter claimed the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association main in dedication to the injured Danny Smith. Cars from six states were on hand for the event, which featured AMRA champions from across the Midwest.
Skyline Speedway Opener/OVSCA Opener delayed to April 16
The much anticipated season opener for Skyline Speedway and the newly formed Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association on April 2 has been pushed back to April 16 owner Billy Jarrell announced officially Sunday afternoon.
Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association Releases Schedule Additional Dates planned
The newly formed Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association (OVSCA), a 410 winged sprint car series based in Stewart, Ohio and sponsored by Hoosier Tire/ Hoosier Tire Ohio Valley among other fine sponsors, has released its inaugural 35-race 2010 racing schedule. Other races are in the negotiation stage, including the possibility of a big three-race weekend.
AMRA Tracks Announce Opening Dates
Now flaunting a power-packed line-up of eleven tracks in four states, the American Motor Racing Association (AMRA) is anxiously awaiting the start of its 2010 racing season. Speedways signing on with the AMRA have, for the most part announced their opening dates, allowing competitors and fans time to prepare for the upcoming season.
