McGuire, Wilson, Stotts, Adkins Take Finals of Harvest 50 weekend
A big weekend of racing concluding with the 26th running of the Harvest 50 Sunday, Oct 11 at Billy Jarrell's Skyline Speedway where Josh McGuire claimed the 2009 crown and $1,000 bonus for winning the night before. The two days earned McGuire $7,500 for the win, his second consecutive Harvest victory. Benton Ridge, Ohio driver and former All-Star Champ Greg Wilson claimed the 1st annual Thrasher 30 for 410 sprint cars, while Chris Stotts claimed the Malta AMRA Road Warrior Tour season-ending event. Dennis Adkins, Portland, Ohio won the "Pea Picker 30" in the four-cylinders. The night's racing activities were dedicated to the late Hilton Wolfe, Jr. as a memorial tribute.

YES! SKYLINE SPEEDWAY IN STEWART, OHIO IS RACING SATURDAY.!
Despite bad weather Friday, the Saturday, Oct. 10 racing program at Skyline Speedway is still on as Saturday kicks off the Harvest 50 weekend. Racing is slated for 7 p.m. with warm-ups at 6 p.m. and a Halloween party for the kids. Prizes will be awarded to kids with the best costume. Kids 12 and under are free. Saturday's portion of the program features 410 Sprints and Late Models for $1,500 to win with Modifieds. A bonus of $1,000 will go to any class that can win both days.

The 26th annual Harvest 50 will be held Sunday, October 11 at 4 p.m. Warm-ups will begin at 3 p.m. with gates now slated to open at 1 p.m. Late Models will run for $5,000, while the AMRA Nationals will run their second leg for $1,000 to win, and the 410 Sprint Cars will run the “Thrasher 30” for $3,000 to win and $225 to start. The Four Cylinders will also run the “Pea-Picker 30” for $600 to win.

Higgins Humbles Skyline Sprint, Montgomery Masters Late Models Johnson AMRA ACE, Wilson, Adkins, and Bond take features wins!
It was off to the races in more than one way as Skyline Speedway beat the rain. Finishing the six-class program before 11:30, Skyline fans saw 19-year-old open-wheel sensation Aaron Higgins (Waverly, Ohio) claim the exciting 410 sprint win. Jason Montgomery, Jackson, Ohio blasted the late model field in superior fashion, while Kenny Johnson (Parkersburg, WV) raked in the Malta AMRA Modified win, Dennis Adkins claimed the Four Cylinders, Ryan Wilson took the Pure Stocks and Kyle Bond claimed the Mini-Wedges.

Swartz Swarms Bond Tribute Race
Saturday, August 14 was “The Tribute 35” for Ronnie and Sarah Bond, two local legends of the sport of racing, especially at Skyline Speedway. Claiming the title race was Minford, Ohio’s Audie Swartz, who claimed his second straight Skyline Late Model win to assert himself as the man to beat for the season point’s championship. Parkersburg’s Kenny Johnson claimed the Malta AMRA Modified main, Ryan Wilson claimed his sixth Pure Stock feature, Greg King captured the Four Cylinders, and Will Holland the mini-wedges.

Berwanger, Higgins, Swartz take Skyline wins!
With points' battles heating up, the action came to a boil Friday night at Billy Jarrell's Skyline Speedway where 19-year old Waverly, Ohio driver Aaron Higgins claimed the 410 sprint main, veteran Audie Swartz of Minford took the Late Model feature, and Murray City's Jeremy Berwanger claimed the Malta AMRA modified main. Ryan Wilson took the Pure Stock main--his 5th of the season, Chris Lauer claimed the Four Cylinders, and Ron Pickens the Mini-Wedges.

Garnes and Smith take feature wins in Late Models/Sprints
The Skyline Speedway racing surface was next to perfect, but especially suited the needs of Evans, WV Late Model driver Chris Garnes who claimed his third Skyline win of the year. Veteran Danny Smith finished a good racing week with a 410 sprint win, Doug Henry claimed the Malta AMRA Modified main, Shawn McClain took the Four-Cylinders, Ryan Wilson the Pure Stocks, and Kyle Bond won the Jack Shutts Memorial Mini-Wedge main.

Stotts takes Schilling Memorial Trophy
Surviving a 6 p.m. downpour, Skyline Speedway took some time to get the track prepared, but the end result was one fast race track. One-hundred thirty cars packed the pits for what proved to be a super, wicked-fast night of racing. Albany, Ohio's John Powell, Jr. known to many as "Lil Hip" claimed the dramatic win in the $1,000 Pure Stock Invitational. Minford, Ohio's Audie Swartz bested the 36 car Late Model field, Keith Baxter, Chillicothe, Ohio, claimed the 410 Outlaw Sprint main, and Jeremy Berwanger (Murray City) took the Malta AMRA Modified main. Portland's Dennis Adkins claimed the 4-Cylinder win and Kyle Bond bested the Mini-Wedges.

July 3 Greg Schilling Mem. est.- News Release and Pay-off
Poised to be one of the "Crown Jewell's" of open-wheeled dirt modified racing, the Malta AMRA-sanctioned Greg Schilling Memorial race is set for its inaugural run at Skyline Speedway Friday, July 3. With an extravagant $17,000-plus purse and additional contingencies, this race is the cornerstone of the American Motor Racing Association.

Skyline Hosts $1,000 Pure Stock Go June 26
Billy Jarrell's Skyline Speedway will host a $1,000 to win Pure Stock Invitational this Saturday, June 26, then gears up for the $17,000-plus purse Malta AMRA Greg Schilling Memorial on July 3. Race fans bringing a new race fan to the races can get $5 off admission for "Two-Fer" Night, a "Two For $25" admission. The promotion is intended to get new fans to the track and "give our loyal fans a little break."

Mintz Masters Skyline, Withem whips Late Models Blake Blasts Malta AMRA Modifieds, Wilson, Plaugher, and Bond claim wins
After a week of rain, sunny skies and warm weather greeted another big crowd at Billy Jarrell's Skyline Speedway, where Gibsonburg, Ohio driver Craig Mintz claimed the 410 Outlaw sprint main and Racin' Ralph Withem, Athens, Ohio took home his third super Late Model win of the year. Jeremy Blake took home the Malta AMRA Modified main, Ryan Wilson claimed the Pure Stock win, Tony Plaugher won the Four Cylinders, and Kyle Bond earned the Mini-wedge victory. One-hundred and ten cars filled the pits.
