Lewis, George and Spithaler Claim Sprint Victories; Shannon Garners First Ever Hobby Stock Win, Carothers Claims Pro-Stocks
The Sharon Speedway Labor Day Weekend Sprint Spectacular found Trevor Lewis (ASCS 360 Patriot Sprints), Rod George (410 Sprints) and Brandon Spithaler picking up victories on Saturday evening. In addition Brian Carothers captured his first Pro-Stock checkered flag since 2007 and John Shannon garnered a career first Hobby Stock main event as Guarnieri Company and Concept Foods sponsored the racing action.

Sprints Take "Center Stage" at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, September 5th
Sharon Speedway will host the "Sprint Spectacular" this Saturday evening, September 5th. The event will feature the winged warriors of the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS), the 410 Sprints and the Limited Sprints. The Pro-Stocks and Hobby Stocks will round out the card.

Curtis and Scharba Capture First Victories of Season, Sodeman, Jr., Redman, Felix and Stiffler Repeat
Rob Curtis and Mike Scharba captured their fist Sharon Speedway victories of 2009 while Jack Sodeman, Jr., Scott Stiffler, Bruce Redman and Rob Felix also visited Victory Lane as a special "Champions Night" celebration marked the end of weekly racing action at the Hartford, OH oval.

Mattingly Steps Down As Sharon Speedway General Manager
In a mutual decision between Sharon Speedway General Manager Larry Mattingly, and track owners Dave Blaney, Ron Kirila and Jim Weller Sr, it has been decided to eliminate the speedway's top management position.

Root Claims Career First Pro-Stock Victory, Miller Captures Limiteds, Kristyak, Clay and Warren Repeat
August racing action at Sharon Speedway continued with Larry Root claiming his first ever Sharon Speedway Pro-Stock victory. In addition Nick Miller scored his first Limited Sprint victory of 2009 while Rob Kristyak (Modifieds), Dwayne Clay (E-Mods) and, Marty Warren (Hobby Stocks) returned to victory lane.
