Midvale Speedway Ownership Officially Changes Hands
The keys to Midvale Speedway are again being handed over to new owners. This time, the new owners are ones with familiar faces. Randy and Sue Smith, who owned the track from 1999-2004 have made the purchase of not only the track, but the land that it sits on. Since the opening of the track in 1953, the land has been owned by the Whitmire family and leased by each speedway owner.

Grandison Claims Compact 50 At Midvale Speedway
The final night of the 2009-racing season is now complete at Midvale Speedway. The season ending Compact Nationals had 30+ drivers vying for the 24 spots in the 50 lap feature. The Pure Stocks and Figure 8's were also on hand.

Midvale Speedway Closes Out Season This Saturday
The final race of the 2009 Midvale Speedway season will be this coming Saturday, October 3. The annual Compact Nationals will be run, while Pure Stocks, Figure 8's, Powder Puff Races, and a Special Amateur Spectator Drag competition will be held. The divisions will all be run under the 2009-Midvale Speedway rules. Grandstand admission will be $20 per carload, while single event tickets are $7.

Tight Battles Continue Saturday At Midvale Speedway
Action in all five classes will continue this coming Saturday, September 5, at Midvale Speedway. Summer like weather conditions are expected for the next to last night of point racing in 2009. The Sport Stock, Pure Stock, and Figure 8 point champions are all but crowned but the chase to the championship is extremely tight in the Late Model and Compact classes.

Fewkes Claims School Bus Clean Sweep
Absolutely beautiful weather greeted Midvale Speedway's largest crowd in 2009 this past Saturday, August 29. Fans came out in numbers ready to see the final School Bus Figure 8 race of 2009 as well as the Legends, Sport Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Compacts.

Miller Makes Small Gain Toward Midvale Championship
McDonald’s presented another action packed night of racing at Midvale Speedway this past Saturday, August 22. The five regular divisions were there, racing for important points with only a few nights remaining on the 2009 schedule.

A beautiful weather forecast has Midvale Speedway officials, fans, and drivers excited for a double header weekend this Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16. On Saturday night, Spectator Drags and Racecar Bingo are the special events, while Sunday afternoon will feature a Drifting show with other events planned.
