Festival of Speed Recap
The opening night of the 9th Annual Lorain County Speedway Halloween Festival of Speed saw 144 cars qualify and racing lasting until well past midnight. While the weather was cold, the racing was hot as all divisions ran their heat races before three special feature races took place.

Saturday's Recap
The Saturday night racing at Lorain County Speedway provided fans with the regular four divisions plus the visiting Legend Cars and a $750 to win Trailer Race of Destruction. Feature race winners were defending E-Mod champion Matt Marlowe who took the lead on lap twenty eight when leader Joe Shannon broke out of his qualifying time. Another defending champion, Chuck Philips was the winner of the Limited Late Model twenty lap main. Jason Knox went unchallenged in the visiting Legend Car feature. Chad Lemmerman won his second Street Stock feature of the season. The Chargers feature was won by Andy McCall.
Jeff Fade takes 1st E-mod feature win of 2009
The E-mods action saw a very exciting 30 lap feature Sat. night with a new face in victory lane. Andy Hoskinson took the early lead from Brad Copen on the start and 3 laps later Copen spun out in turn #3. Kurt Hennings brought out the 2nd caution as he stalled down the back straightaway.
Burch Blazes to 4th Career MSA Win at Lorain County
Middleburg Heights, Ohio driver Randy Burch has always been a fan favorite. He has earned the respect of the entire supermodified community for his professionalism on and off the track as well as his dedication to the supermodified division. After piloting his own supermodified for the past few years, Burch decided to drive for Steve Stout and ACME Racing in 2009. After struggling with some bad luck the past few years, Burch wasn’t going to be denied Saturday night at Lorain County as he picked up an overdue PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association win.
MSA-Oswego Winged Challenge Series Heads to Lorain Speedway
The MSA-Oswego Winged Challenge series will head to Lorain County Speedway on Saturday June 20th, 2009 to do battle for forty green flag and action packed laps on the exciting 3/8’s mile. This will mark the first time the challenge series will put a race on at the speedway. This race will feature some of the most talented and best supermodified drivers from both the PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association and the Oswego Speedway. Local fans who might not have the opportunity to see the Oswego drivers are encouraged to come out and witness what is shaping up to be a great race.
MAY 9TH JOHN WHITE TAKES EXTRA CASH AT LORAIN
The fall like temperatures scared the fans away but the racing was fast and furious as always last Saturday night at Lorain County Speedway. The Pearl Road Modifieds action saw a 800.00 1st place prize draw some new faces to the fleet of modifieds.
Rick Harmon fights for first Modified Win at Lorain County Speedway
Another beautiful Saturday night with temperatures in the mid 80s for kids night out at the county saw 250 kids show up for their free hot dog and a chance to win a free bike.
