HILLTOP SPEEDWAY DRIVERS COLLECT AWARDS
The 2009 season awards banquet for Hilltop Speedway was held Friday night at the Coshocton Moose Family Center. Following a delicious meal, promoter Mick Conkle thanked all his staff, drivers and crews, sponsers, and fans for a great year. Then the awards were handed out as each of the five champions received trophies and jackets while second and third place drivers being awarded plaques and the rest of the top ten received pit pass' for the 2010 season.
HILLTOP SPEEDWAY 2009 BANQUET DATE SET
By Mike Swanger The Hilltop Speedway awards banquet will be held Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Coshocton Moose Family Center, which is behind the McDonalds, in Coshocton. The doors will open at 6: 30 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person and checks can be sent to Mick Conkle Motorsports, 120 South Second Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 or call 740-502-7650. Tickets should be ordered before Monday, November 16th and the will be picked up at the door the night of the banquet.. It will be a buffett style dinner with two meat dishes, beer will be provided and the bar will be open to purchase mixed drinks. Champions in each division will receive a trophy while second and third place drivers will receive an award. There will be door prizes and live music after the awards ceremony. Tim Shaffer climbs his way to victory at Hilltop Speedway
With the O’Reilly Circuit of Champions schedule down to four races left, Tim Shaffer put an exclamation point on his bid for the 2009 title by winning his seventh race of the season. At the front of the pack for most of the night Shaffer battled with a couple of Rookie-of-the-Year contenders in order to celebrate in Victory Lane.

The regular season points racing at Hilltop Speedway came to a close Friday night with more top notch action . Dash winner Lance Elson led the pack of S & S Construction Late Models on the opening circuit of their feature but Doug Dodd would overtake him the on the second lap. Dodd would lead for the next 3 laps but going down the back stretch, he broke and slowed as fourth running Spud Myers could not slow up fast enough and made contact with Dodd.
SHAFFER & ARONHALT ROCKET TO HILLTOP WINS
It's been a frustrating season for Warsaw's Norm Aronhalt but he finishes the 2009 season at Hilltop Speedway strong by leading all the way Sunday night to pocket the $1,200 to win Tri State Modified 25 lap feature, backing up his win from Friday night.

All Star Circuit of Champions three night thriller this Labor Day weekend
While most of the nation is getting ready for a three day weekend, the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions are gearing up for three nights of racing excitement that will span two states. On Friday night September 4th the series will be traveling to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania to take on the PA Posse. Then on Saturday September 5th the series will travel to Ohio for a showdown at Attica Raceway Park, before the focus of the 410 Sprint car racing world turns to Hilltop Speedway in Millersburg, Ohio on Sunday night September 6th.

The fans saw a little of everything and a lot of close, side by side action on a warm night at Hilltop Speedway with Jason Flory setting the early pace in the S & S Construction Late Model feature.
GARDNER GRAND IN HILLTOP'S PURE STOCK MAIN
The Snyder Brothers Pure Stock were in the Hilltop Speedway's spotlight Friday night as they were chasing after the $1,000 to win share of the purse and after breaking the track record by more than a second (16.510)and winning the dash, Perrysville's Brandon Gardner would start on the pole of the 30 lap event.
