Gosek Steals MSA-Oswego Non Wing Thunder at Sandusky
No one knew what to expect heading into the first non-wing supermodified race at Sandusky Speedway in twenty-six years. Many thought passing was going to be at a premium. Two drivers proved that theory wrong. By the end of the race, Oswego, New York native Joe Gosek proved them all wrong by winning from his tenth starting position. MSA rookie hot shoe Trent Stephens started twelfth and finished right behind Gosek.

Jedrzejek Hits the Hat Trick at Sandusky
During the last few years in MSA competition, Dave Shullick Jr. and Charlie Schultz dominated at Sandusky Speedway. After this weekend, another driver accomplished that feat. The first two MSA shows at Sandusky this year saw Timmy Jedrzejek put the Reed’s Salvage machine in victory lane. Jedrzejek continued his dominance by taking his third win at Sandusky this season. Stephens Scorches MSA Field at Toledo
After winning his first feature in a supermodified at the Oswego Speedway, one could tell that Trent Stephens was going to be a great supermodified driver. The rookie continued his up and down season with an impressive performance holding off veteran hot shoes Timmy Jedrzejek and Charlie Schultz at Toledo Speedway on Friday night. Lagrange, Ohio’s Jon Henes and Sandusky, Ohio’s Gene Lee Gibson paced the PPG Vibrance Collection Super Series to the green flag with Henes out to the early lead.

SCHULTZ CROWNED ''KING OF WINGS'' AT OSWEGO
Lorain, Ohio’s Charlie Schultz pocketed $10,000 dollars Saturday night, winning Oswego Speedway’s MSA-sanctioned “King of Wings” 50-lap feature race. Starting in the 10th position, Schultz eventually passed race leader and teammate Tim Ice in lapped traffic to move atop the field. Once there, the 30-year old MSA tour regular never looked back.

Jedrzejek Jets to 2nd MSA Win at Sandusky
The PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association returned to Sandusky Speedway for the second time in three weeks for Reed’s Salvage night. At the first show, Timmy Jedrzejek appeared to be the class of the field, and tonight, the storyline was no different as the four-time MSA champion continued his dominance at the storied ½ mile oval.

Burch Blazes to 4th Career MSA Win at Lorain County
Middleburg Heights, Ohio driver Randy Burch has always been a fan favorite. He has earned the respect of the entire supermodified community for his professionalism on and off the track as well as his dedication to the supermodified division. After piloting his own supermodified for the past few years, Burch decided to drive for Steve Stout and ACME Racing in 2009. After struggling with some bad luck the past few years, Burch wasn’t going to be denied Saturday night at Lorain County as he picked up an overdue PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association win.

MSA-Oswego Winged Challenge Series Heads to Lorain Speedway
The MSA-Oswego Winged Challenge series will head to Lorain County Speedway on Saturday June 20th, 2009 to do battle for forty green flag and action packed laps on the exciting 3/8’s mile. This will mark the first time the challenge series will put a race on at the speedway. This race will feature some of the most talented and best supermodified drivers from both the PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest Supermodified Association and the Oswego Speedway. Local fans who might not have the opportunity to see the Oswego drivers are encouraged to come out and witness what is shaping up to be a great race.

Jedrzejek Dominates Reed’s Salvage Night at Sandusky
The storyline of 2008 at Sandusky Speedway was Timmy Jedrzejek and Charlie Schultz both dominating the northcoast home for supermodifieds. Tonight, the storyline was no different. Twenty-one PPG Vibrance Collection Midwest supermodifieds and a packed grandstand were on hand for Reed’s Salvage night at the half-mile oval.
